Go from the schedule to the live game without passing a score.
HideScore shows which channel each game is on and prints no score. Add your own stream links once, and a tap on the network opens the game in your own player.
See which channel each game is on, with no score
Every game card on the board names its start time and its network. No score, no winner and no league table is printed anywhere, so you can check what is on tonight without learning how last night ended.
Tap the network to open your own stream
Live-TV apps show the score in the guide, in the thumbnails and in the progress bar. With TV channel links set, a tap on a network opens your own stream for that channel in VLC or IINA instead. You skip the app's guide, its thumbnails and its progress bar, which are the places where the score shows.
Set it up
Open Settings, then More settings, then Links. In TV channel links, write one line per network: the network name, an equals sign, and your stream link. Put more than one name before the equals sign, split by commas, when a network goes by two names. Leave the box blank to turn the feature off.
HDHomeRun
Each channel has a link on the tuner itself, on port 5004. Use the tuner's address and the channel number.
ESPN = http://<tuner-ip>:5004/auto/v<channel>Channels DVR
In the server's web admin, open Settings, then Sources, and use the source's management button to get its M3U playlist link. Copy each channel's link from that playlist.
FS1, FOX Sports 1 = <channel link from the M3U playlist>Any M3U playlist link
Any M3U playlist link you are entitled to watch works the same way: open the playlist and copy the link for each channel you want.
NBC = <channel link from your M3U playlist>HideScore provides no channels or streams. It only opens the links you write here.
Which player opens
Under Open channels in, the Auto choice opens IINA on a Mac and VLC on an iPhone or iPad. On other devices it opens the link as written. You can also pick IINA, VLC or the link as written by hand. The choice applies to this device only.
Open HideScore. No score is printed on the board.

Can a TV guide hide sports scores?
Yes. HideScore's board lists each game with its start time and channel, and no score is printed on it. Add your own stream links in Settings and a tap on the network opens the game in your own player, so you never pass through a live-TV guide that shows the score.
Does HideScore stream games?
No. HideScore provides no channels or streams. It only opens a link that you pasted into Settings, in the player you picked.
Which stream links work?
Any http or https link that your player can open: a tuner's channel link such as an HDHomeRun's, a channel from a DVR server's M3U playlist link, or any M3U playlist link you are entitled to watch. A link that is already an app link, such as vlc://, is used as written.
Does my list sync?
The list does. If you sign in, your TV channel links follow you to every device. The player choice does not: it is set per device, because a Mac and an iPhone open streams in different apps.
